The 20 Tooth GT2 (3mm) is designed for use with GT3 (3mm) belts and has more aggressive teeth than it's little brother the GT2 (2mm) so it can be used in higher torque applications. This pulley has a 6.35mm (1/4") bore size which is commonly used on Nema 23 Stepper Motors.

The 20 Tooth GT2 (2mm) is becoming a very common size seen on Nema 17 equipped 3D printers and CNC routers. It's smaller diameter is a good compromise between belt grip and stepper motor resolution.

The 30-tooth GT2 (2mm) pulley sizing was designed so that the timing belt works with V-Slot system fitting on either side of a 20mm extrusion profile, this allows for countless linear applications!

The 14-tooth GT2 (2mm) pulley is designed to give you higher effective resolution and torque from your stepper motors than when using larger diameter pulleys. The smaller diameter means that the belt moves a shorter distance for each step of the motor.
